Chris Nolan
Chris Nolan's presentation one of the most interesting presentations I have ever seen. Every month there are billions of searches which go threw google and other search engines and to learn how they work was enlightening and gave me a better understanding of how to search. The most important thing I learned from the presentation was that not all sights on google or other sights can be trusted especially when it comes to research of a topic. Often times people post there view rather then facts about things which makes researching a little risky. He taught me that using google scholar or Informine which is University of California's scholastic search engine are mush better ways to get academic information which is reliable and factual. Overall I loved the presentation and learned so much from it and am now much more knowledgeable on how to get information off of the web.
